Radioscopy
Image quality and radiation safety in Fluoroscopy users
Fluoroscopy used by radiologists (Conventional, General Purpose C-Arms, Angiography C-Arms), Cardiologists (Cardiac C-Arms, EP Labs), Surgeons (Mobile C-Arms), and Urologists.
Fluoroscopy used in security are in separate section.
Conventional Fluoroscopy
Conventional fluoroscopy testing using ACR R/F Phantom positioned on the imaging detector, x-ray source is above Phantom (or over patient).
Remote Control Fluoroscopy
In remote fluoroscopy detector is positioned below patient. Operator is behind the shield. Overview of tests done in Remote Control Fluoroscopy is displayed on the right image. Similar tests are available for all different types of fluoroscopy, as needed.
General Purpose C-Arm Fluoroscopy
General Purpose Fluoroscopy is designed to perform various types of procedures, including general angiography. Clinically relevant tests of contrast and resolution of detected aneurysms are tested using ACR Phantom and AAPM Angiography insert.
Fluoroscopy in General Angiography
The results of testing of resolution and ability to detect narrowing of blood vessels are indicated for different sizes and occlusions of blood vessels, using the above set-up.
